Only a successful 200 response is marked as chargeable. The other listed statuses are non-chargeable.

Confirm that you signed into the correct account, selected RCC WordPress Plugin, completed payment, added the domain and refreshed WordPress.
The domain will not connect
Use the exact website domain and check whether it is already registered to another account.
Sandbox works but live mode does not
Check that the subscription is active, the domain matches and searches remain available.
A vehicle is not found
Check the registration format and returned status. A 204 response means no content was available.
A result field is empty
Some fields are not available for every vehicle. Confirm the shortcode and allow for partial records.
The shortcode design looks wrong
Clear caches and check whether the theme, page builder or another plugin is changing the output.
The allowance is being used quickly
Review public access and unusual traffic. CAPTCHA, limits or caching may require custom development.
Vehicle data must populate a form
The standard shortcode output may not feed another form automatically. Request a custom integration review.

Does it search by registration or VIN?
The standard plugin search starts with a UK registration number. A VIN may be returned where available.
Can it populate my existing form?
Vehicle information can be returned but passing values into another form depends on the form builder and commonly requires custom integration.
Why does the plugin still show Sign Up?
Check the account, RCC WordPress Plugin subscription, payment and registered domain then refresh the WordPress administration page.
Can one domain be connected to two accounts?
No. A website domain cannot be active in two Rapid Car Check accounts at the same time.
Are invalid registrations charged?
The published status information marks a successful 200 response as chargeable. The other listed status responses are marked as non-chargeable.
What happens when the allowance is used?
A 429 response indicates that the rate limit or available quota has been exceeded. Sign in and review the WordPress plugin plan.
