1. About Rapid Car Check

This website is operated by Viva Vehicle Ventures Ltd, trading as Rapid Car Check (“RCC”). Registered in England and Wales, Company No. 16774319. Registered Office: 4 Capricorn Centre, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3JJ.
“You”, “Your”, and “User” refer to any individual or business using this website or purchasing services from Rapid Car Check. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Purpose of the Service

Rapid Car Check provides vehicle history and information services using data supplied from official and commercial third-party sources. These checks are designed to help you make informed vehicle purchasing decisions. All information is provided as a guide only and should not be relied upon as conclusive evidence of a vehicle’s condition, ownership, or history.

3. Use of the Website

The information and services provided by Rapid Car Check are intended for lawful use within mainland Great Britain only. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
You may not:

  • Copy, extract, reuse, or screen-scrape any information or data displayed on this website
  • Reproduce, republish, download, transmit, or create derivative works from any part of this website without prior written consent
  • Interfere with or attempt to alter the website’s technical operation or data processes
    Any unauthorised use may result in suspension or legal action.

4. Information Accuracy and Disclaimer

Rapid Car Check obtains data from reputable third-party sources including, but not limited to, the DVLA, DVSA, PNC, MIAFTR, Experian PLC, and TCC.
We take reasonable care to ensure accuracy; however, all information is provided “as is” and without warranty.
We make no representation or warranty regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data
  • The suitability of the information for any particular purpose
  • Continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted website access
    Rapid Car Check, its directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, or consequential) resulting from the use of this website, its reports, or associated materials. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights.

5. Orders, Payments and Subscriptions

When purchasing a vehicle check or subscription, you agree that:

  • Prices displayed exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Payment is processed securely via an authorised provider
  • You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information
  • Recurring subscriptions (where applicable) will renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
    Once a vehicle report has been generated, it is considered delivered and cannot be refunded or revoked.

6. Digital Delivery and Refunds

All vehicle checks and reports are classified as digital content. Delivery begins immediately once payment is confirmed and the report is generated.
By proceeding with payment, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Because data is purchased from third parties as complete datasets, no refunds can be offered after a report has been delivered.

7. Account Access and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse, data scraping, or unauthorised activity is detected. You may request deletion of your account and associated data through our Support Centre.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Rapid Car Check shall not be liable for:

  • Inaccuracies or omissions in third-party data
  • Delays or interruptions to service
  • Any financial or consequential loss resulting from reliance on data
  • The maximum total liability of Rapid Car Check shall not exceed the value of the specific report or service purchased

9. Data Sources and Updates

Rapid Car Check compiles information from multiple trusted sources, including:

  • The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA)
  • The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
  • The Police National Computer (PNC)
  • The Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR)
  • Experian PLC
  • TCC
    Data is refreshed at regular intervals. However, due to third-party data schedules, some records may not reflect the most recent updates at the time of your search.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms removes your statutory rights under UK law. However, because digital content is delivered immediately, you will not have the right to cancel or get a refund once your report has been generated, in accordance with Regulation 37(1)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, brand names, and content on this website are owned by Viva Vehicle Ventures Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of this website without express written permission.

12. Service Availability

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that our website and services are available at all times. However, service interruptions may occur during maintenance or third-party outages. We accept no liability for downtime or temporary unavailability of services.

13. Force Majeure

Rapid Car Check shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including network outages, data supplier interruptions, or government restrictions.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes or claims arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

16. Linked Terms and Data Partners

Rapid Car Check uses licensed vehicle data supplied via TCC. By purchasing a report, you also agree to the following linked terms:

Rapid Car Check Plugin and API – Business Terms of Service

1. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • RCC means Viva Vehicle Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16774319), trading as Rapid Car Check, whose registered office is 4 Capricorn Centre, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3JJ.
  • The Plugin means the Rapid Car Check WordPress Plugin, provided via download or installation from the WordPress repository or directly from our website.
  • The API means the Rapid Car Check Application Programming Interface, including any associated API keys, documentation, and management dashboard.
  • The Client means the business or organisation entering into a subscription or integration agreement with RCC.
  • Subscription refers to the paid monthly or annual plan agreed at the time of purchase, processed via Stripe or any other authorised provider.
    These Terms apply to all B2B users of the Plugin, API, or related RCC services.

2. Scope of Service

RCC provides access to vehicle data and related information through its API and Plugin for business use only. All data is supplied on an “as is” basis from third-party sources. RCC does not warrant, represent, or guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or fitness of any data for a particular purpose. RCC provides only:

  • A functional plugin.
  • A working data feed via API.
  • Documentation and account management tools.
    Integration, website configuration, theme or plugin compatibility, and hosting environment setup are the sole responsibility of the Client. Any support or intervention beyond the supply of a working Plugin and API feed will be chargeable at RCC’s current hourly support rate.

3. Business-to-Business Nature

All Plugin and API services are supplied exclusively to registered businesses, developers, or organisations. These Terms are governed by the Business-to-Business framework under English law. Accordingly:

  • Consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, does not apply.
  • The Client acknowledges they are entering into this agreement for commercial use only.

4. Subscriptions, Payments and Renewals

  • All subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by the Client via their account before renewal.
  • Prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment is taken through Stripe or another approved payment processor.
  • Failure to make payment on time may result in suspension of API access or Plugin functionality.
  • RCC reserves the right to adjust subscription fees with 30 days’ notice.

5. No Refunds

Due to the nature of our service and third-party data costs, no refunds or credits will be issued for any subscription once access has been granted or data has been used. RCC pays for access to external data in advance and cannot offer refunds for any unused or partial credits, early cancellation, or perceived inaccuracy in data.

6. Data Provision and Liability

RCC obtains vehicle data from official and commercial sources, including but not limited to the DVLA, DVSA, PNC, MIAFTR, Experian PLC, and Total Car Check (TCC). Data may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable due to upstream supplier or network issues. RCC provides no warranties, express or implied, regarding data quality, reliability, or accuracy. The Client agrees that all risk associated with using or relying on data provided through the Plugin or API rests entirely with the Client. RCC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Plugin, API, or any supplied data. RCC’s total aggregate liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the total value of the Client’s subscription fees for the previous month.

7. Plugin and Website Compatibility

The Rapid Car Check Plugin is tested against current versions of WordPress and PHP at the time of release. RCC makes no guarantee that the Plugin will operate correctly with all WordPress themes, plugins, or hosting environments. Any conflicts or integration issues arising from the Client’s specific setup are outside the scope of included support. Troubleshooting or custom development required to resolve such conflicts will be chargeable at RCC’s standard hourly rate. The Client acknowledges that installing, activating, or updating the Plugin is done at their own risk and should be tested in a staging environment prior to deployment on a live website.

8. Support and Maintenance

RCC provides documentation and limited support for installation and configuration queries. Ongoing maintenance, custom integration, or data-feed implementation beyond the standard product scope will incur additional charges. 9. Account and API Key Management

  • Each Client is provided with API credentials or Plugin licence keys tied to their verified domain(s).
  • The Client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of these credentials.
  • RCC may suspend or revoke access if misuse, excessive requests, or sharing of keys is detected.
  • API or Plugin access may also be limited or terminated for non-payment, misuse, or breach of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, source code, data formatting, designs, trademarks, and related documentation are owned exclusively by Viva Vehicle Ventures Ltd. The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Plugin or API for business use during their active subscription period. Reverse engineering, copying, reselling, or redistribution of the Plugin or data feed is strictly prohibited.

11. Termination

RCC may suspend or terminate access immediately if:

  • The Client breaches these Terms.
  • Unauthorised or illegal use is detected.
  • Payment is overdue.
  • There is evidence of misuse, scraping, or resale of data.
    Termination will not relieve the Client of any outstanding payment obligations.

12. Force Majeure

RCC will not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including server failures, network outages, supplier interruptions, or government actions.

13. Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RCC, its directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising out of the Client’s use of the Plugin, API, or supplied data.

14. Limitation of Warranties

RCC provides the Plugin and API “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. No guarantee is given that the Plugin or API will meet the Client’s specific requirements or operate without interruption. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for purpose, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by English law.

15. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Client irrevocably agrees that any dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
